Happy Diwali Images 2022 – Diwali or Deepavali the festival of lights is one of the most auspicious festival of the Hindus. It is celebrated in the month of Kartika. Diwali symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance. It is celebrated as Lord Rama along with his wife Sita and brother Lakshmana had returned to Ayodhya after defeating the demon Ravana and serving 14 years of exile. The people of Ayodhya celebrated this day by lighting lamps and diyas in their house to welcome Lord Rama, since then every year Diwali is celebrated.
Diwali preparations begins one month before Diwali. People starts cleaning each and every corner of their house. On Diwali, we decorate our house with lights, lamps and diyas. Rangoli are also being made. Lord Ganesh, the god of wisdom and the remover of obstacles and Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity are worshipped. People exchange gifts and sweets on this ocassion.
