William Hurt Death

William McChord Hurt popularly known as William Hurt was born on 20th March 1950 at Washington, U.S. He was an American actor by profession. He was known popularly for Broadcast News and Body Heat.

He began his career from Altered States of 1980, where he played the role of a troubled scientist.
He had won the leading actor Oscar for ”Kiss of the Spider Woman”.

William was married to Mary Berth, but they parted their ways after Sandra Jennings who had a relationship with William was pregnant. He again married to Heidi Henderson and had two children. William also had a daughter with Sandrine Bonnaire.

At the age of 71, on 13th March 2022 Hurt breathed his last at his home Portland, Oregon due to his prostate cancer complications.

The whole of Hollywood mourned the Oscar winning actor and expressed their grief on social media.

Very sorry to hear about the passing of William Hurt. He was a fine actor, an Academy Award winner. He also did a classic reading of my story "Low Men in Yellow Coats," from HEARTS IN ATLANTIS. I loved hitchhiking on his immense talent.
