On 31st May 2022, KK breathed his last after performing for a college fest at Kolkata. He had a cardiac arrest while his way back to the hotel. At the age of just 53, KK left his wife Jyothy and two children Nakul Krishna Kunnath, Tamara Kunnath back behind him.
