Maharashtra Din Images – Maharashtra Day popularly known as Maharashtra Din is considered to be the day when the Maharashtra state was formed by the Bombay Reorganisation Act, 1960. This day is celebrated with parades and political speeches and ceremonies. Every year on 1st May a parade is held at Shivaji Park, Maharashtra where the Governor of Maharashtra gives speech.
